Sharing Web Resources

The topic/section on Health, safety, and wellbeing are relevant my professional development. As a teacher in a learning center, I am stepping the professional line. This means to me that the wellbeing of young children is my goal to advocate children development.  Children who are raised in a rich environment/abounding resource are higher evolved in the wellbeing situation. However, the professionals in Australia consider the healthy lifestyle including nutrition and physical fitness is integral to wellbeing. Wellbeing connects to children's sense of belonging, being and becoming. this tell me wellbeing refers to the healthy lifestyle which still can practice in some poor environment/short of resource place if children are approached holistically from physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive aspects (National Quality Standard Professional Learning Program (NQS PLP), 2012).
The early years learning framework is established to advocate children wellbeing that refers "belonging, being and becoming" in 2009. The research from the field of neuroscience highly impacts the idea of establishing the framework. "There is powerful evidence from neuroscience that the early years of development from conception to age six, particularly the first three years, set the base for competence and coping skills that will affect learning, behavior and health throughout life"(Early Childhood Australia, 2011).
The new insights about issues and trends in the early childhood field I have learned so far is the issues and trends emerge everywhere no matter what country and region there are. It is international, global issue. When we look the issue from other country, from the other viewpoint, we gain better understand the issue that relates to our place. For example, the concept of that how important the early childhood education is; from the view of USA scientist, "if you do not get everything you need by the time your are three or five, they you are dooms. " from the Chinese saying, "San Sui Kan Dao Lao", which means the character and personality formed by three years of age is going be that of the adult. From the view of Australia neuroscience, "development from conception to age six, particularly the first three years, set the base for competence and coping skills that will affect learning, behaviors and health throughout life".
