The first time I read this book was to our two-year-olds. I did not know if these children understood Ferdinand. However, the unique, simple, and peaceful life that Ferdinand lived impressed me so deeply that I wanted to read it to children again and again.
I have never read Ferdinand, but heard a small part on a movie and was intrigued to read it. Thanks for resparking my motivation to finally read the book for myself.
